Mānuka oil is the essential oil extracted from the leaf of the Mānuka plant using a steam distillation process. The essential oil has rare very strong Gram-Positive antimicrobial properties that correlate to the levels of ß-triketone compounds that can be found in the oil. Mānuka oil is graded using the MßTK™ grading system which show the percentage of Manuka ß-triketones present in Mānuka oil.

Mānuka Oil has been long valued for its health properties, aiding the body in repair and rejuvenation while the antimicrobial properties work by helping to keep the skin clean and clear of bacteria that can cause skin problems such as acne, spots and other blemishes.
