Ingredients:
• 1 30 oz piece salmon
• 2 tbsp avocado oil
• 1 tsp salt
• 1/4 tsp black pepper
Sauce
• 1 tbsp avocado oil
• 2 tbsp soy sauce or coconut aminos
• 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
• 3-4 tbsp sweetener of choice (I used allulose)
• Juice of small lime (*use only 1-2 tbsp if you want it less citrusy*)
• 2 tsp minced garlic
• 1 tsp ground ginger
• ½ tsp red pepper flakes
• 1 tbsp Melora Manuka Honey 100+ MGO
• Salt and pepper to taste
Garnish:
• 1 tablespoon minced cilantro for garnish
• 1 green onion sliced for garnish
• 1 lime sliced for garnish
Instructions
1. In a large bowl, make your sauce. Add all sauce ingredients into a bowl and mix.
2. Next, your salmon - pat dry your salmon.
3. Add avocado oil into a large pan on medium high heat.
4. Placing the salmon skin side down, cook your salmon for 4-5 mins. Once crispy, flip.
5. Cook the salmon for an additional 5-6 minutes. Add your sauce, right away, it should start caramelising and getting thick.
6. Cook salmon in sauce for a minute and remove. Garnish and enjoy!
