As the hot weather continues to sizzle, why not treat yourself to these delectable upside-down apple puff pastries made with crisp Braeburn apples, a drizzle of Melora Lemon Squeezy Manuka honey, and all cooked to perfection in the air fryer! 

Picture this: flaky, golden puff pastry forming a buttery base, topped with slices of juicy Braeburn apples, lightly caramelized to perfection. And the secret ingredient that takes these tartlets to the next level? A generous drizzle of Melora Lemon Squeezy Manuka honey! The sweet and tangy flavours of the honey beautifully complement the apples, creating a taste sensation like no other. 

Cooking these pastries in the air fryer ensures a crisp golden crust with a tender apple filling. It's the perfect way to enjoy a homemade treat without heating up the kitchen in the scorching weather!

Ingredients:

  • Puff Pastry

  • Apple (we used Braeburn apples)

  • Melora Lemon flavoured Honey

  • Brown Sugar

  • Cinnamon

  • Egg Wash

Directions:

  • To some parchment paper add some honey. Smooth out the honey. Top with sliced apples. Then top with some brown sugar & cinnamon.
  • Add puff pastry on top of apples. Brush puff pastry with an egg wash. Add turnovers to air fryer and air fry at 200 degrees for 10 minutes. Carefully flip turnover & cook for another 2 mins until golden & crispy.
  • Take turnovers out of air fryer and let cool.
  • Once cooled, top with powdered icing sugar and enjoy with ice cream!
